Job Title: School Business Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled School Business Manager to join our team at Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd.

Location: Derby, DE1 3HF

Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Full Year

Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

We are looking for a talented individual to manage the business operations of our school, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the organization. As a School Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, and operational aspects of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the school's budget and financial planning
  • Oversee the administrative functions of the school, including HR, facilities, and IT
  • Develop and implement business strategies to improve the school's performance
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including parents, staff, and local authorities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a business management role, preferably in education
  • Strong financial management skills and experience with budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
