Event Catering Manager

We are in search of a talented and passionate Event Catering Manager to become a vital part of our team at Arena Racing Company.
The Event Catering Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and profitable management of catering services and events by leading teams to deliver exceptional experiences.
As a key representative of Arena Racing Company, the Event Catering Manager is expected to exhibit strong communication skills, sound decision-making, and effective resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Executive Director and catering personnel to meet the annual financial objectives of the catering division.
- Oversee budget management and revenue goals for both race day and non-race day events.
- Compile monthly financial reports and assess performance indicators.
- Innovate product offerings and develop effective sales tactics.
- Enhance profitability for all events through teamwork with the sales department.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and compliance with labor budgets.
- Uphold high standards for all catered events.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members.
- Adhere to human resources policies and guidelines.
- Act in accordance with responsibilities as a Designated Premises Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Prior experience in catering and event management.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of food service principles and practices.
