Cummins Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Engine Business Segment. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, maintaining, and improving mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems
  • Work with cross-functional teams to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure safe working practices when dealing with electricity and other energy sources
  • Perform maintenance activities in accordance with schematic diagrams, operation manuals, and specifications
  • Schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to improve quality, safety, and process efficiency

Requirements

  • Must be an experienced time-served Maintenance Technician with NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • ONC/HNC qualified in a relevant discipline, such as Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic
  • Ability to fault-find on complex electrical and mechanical systems and interpret schematic drawings
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
  • Knowledge of Machine safety systems, LOTO procedures, and safe work practices
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs and Robot systems is advantageous
