Your Future Role
Embrace a new opportunity by joining our team in Derby, where you will leverage your engineering knowledge in a pioneering domain. You will report to the Head of ISR UK&I and collaborate with a committed team, serving as the liaison with various engineering and ISR functions (Technical Documentation, RAMS, Design Engineering, System Architecture, and others) to gather critical information influencing maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence design integration to meet maintainability requirements, including Predictive Maintenance considerations.
- Oversee and implement Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities in alignment with the ISR Management plan.
- Assess Life Cycle Cost (LCC) performance against Design for Serviceability (DfS) targets.
- Develop maintenance plans and design LSA components (MTA, LCC, LORA, RCM).
- Allocate spare parts effectively.
- Document and manage data within the central ISR repository.
- Create and maintain the LSA Management plan.
- Ensure effective technical collaboration with various teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical, system architecture, sourcing, and suppliers).
- Verify adherence to DfS on subsystems.
- Collect and incorporate feedback into processes.
- Define the Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in harmony with Design Engineering BOM.
- Formulate comprehensive maintenance plans.
- Conduct LCC calculations and analyses.
- Manage procurement relationships for ISR needs.
- Ensure the LSA database is accurately defined and updated.
- Align spare part consumption models with maintenance strategies.
- Validate technical maintenance documentation.
- Promote adherence to standard ISR practices in line with international standards and Alstom procedures.
- Utilize data to enhance future project QCD.
About You
We prioritize enthusiasm and attitude over extensive experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following attributes will contribute to your success in this role:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in developing maintenance strategies and methodologies.
- Strong background in a similar role.
- Familiarity with UK Rolling Stock maintenance is advantageous.
- Experience in maintenance execution.
- Knowledge of Design for Serviceability and LSA engineering is desirable.
- Competencies & Skills:
