Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level clinical expertise in general adult psychiatry, with a focus on patient-centered care and recovery-focused treatment.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to deliver excellent patient outcomes and promote a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines and service delivery models to encourage early intervention and prevention.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to undergraduate, postgraduate, and DIT students, as well as other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • FRANZCP or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2.5 years of consultant-level experience in adult psychiatry.
  • Experience in leading MDTs and developing clinical practice guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
