About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Architect to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure information systems and architectures to protect our sensitive data and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure information systems and architectures to protect sensitive data and systems
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize security threats
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies to ensure our systems and data remain secure
Requirements
  • Proven experience in information security architecture and design
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations, including GDPR and NIST
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
