About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Retail Assistant to join our team at Chester Zoo. As a Seasonal Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and sales support in our retail stores and other areas of the zoo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and sales support to visitors
  • Work in a fast-paced retail environment, handling cash and operating a point of sale system
  • Process transactions, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive shopping environment
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Previous retail experience is an asset, but not required
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
