About the Role:
Randox Laboratories, a leading international company operating in over 145 countries, is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join its Purchasing Department. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the company through efficient acquisition and procurement of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Operations: You will be responsible for preparing and placing supplier orders, sourcing potential new suppliers, and providing/cross-checking of supplier invoices against orders placed.
- Purchasing Records: You will maintain accurate purchasing records, ensuring all incoming goods are delivered on time and service contracts are up-to-date.
- Travel and Communication: You will be required to travel to meet suppliers and customers, and possess a valid UK driving license.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: You must be qualified to degree level in a Life Science or Business-related course.
- Lean Manufacturing: You should have awareness of the principles of lean manufacturing.
- Eligibility: You must be eligible to work within the UK.
