Electrical Installation Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Supervisor to join our team at Work Lyf Group Limited. As an Electrical Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of electrical systems and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the Site Manager to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Project Engineer to produce Electrical Installation Specifications.
  • Manage site subcontract labour, reviewing RAMS and coordinating site work permits, including LOTO.
  • Review technical drawings and distribute information to electrical installation supervisors.
  • Manage the storage and safe distribution of installation materials and instrumentation.
Preferred Experience:
  • Good understanding of UK legislation, including BS7671.
  • Experience with instrumentation applications, including flow, level, pressure, temperature, weight, and analytical systems.
  • Experience managing subcontract labour for large projects.
  • Good understanding of electrical and P&I drawings.
  • Good understanding of the beverage industries, including relevant regulations and certifications.
Essential Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in hygienic process installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Ability to attend client meetings and record minutes of the meeting.
  • Installation of process instrumentation.
  • Generation of project documentation, including installation schedules and I/O commissioning documents.
  • AutoCAD and Microsoft Office literacy.
