Electrical Estimator Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Carbon60. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate estimates for design and build projects, including large and complex schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate estimates for electrical design and build projects
  • Use Trimble Contract Master for preparing estimates
  • Maintain accurate records of tenders submitted
  • Interface with Estimating manager and work winning/procurement operations teams

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Electrical Estimator role
  • Knowledge of various electrical installations ranging from 230V - 11kV
  • Main switchgear and sub-distribution experience
  • Background in LV cable installation and jointing works
  • Broad understanding of requirements for electrical projects and accurate vetting of quotations from supply chain partners
  • Staff management and delivery team experience
  • Testing & Commissioning background
