This is a senior position within our wholesale division, focusing on marine cargo insurance. As a Senior Marine Cargo Wholesale Broker, you will be responsible for building and managing a pipeline of UK-based insurance brokers to support them with their own cargo/stock throughput enquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with UK and European retail brokers, leveraging your expertise in marine cargo insurance to deliver effective placement solutions.
- Market Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of the marine cargo insurance market to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our London/Lloyd's market contacts to secure new clients and expand our wholesale division.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Expertise: Proven expertise in marine cargo insurance, preferably with experience as a broker.
- Market Connections: Established connections across the Lloyds/Carrier market.
- Relationships: Strong relationships with UK and European retail brokers.
We offer a competitive package, including a base salary of up to £85,000, plus significant bonus potential. You will also have the flexibility to work from home and be part of a dynamic team within our wholesale division.
