Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer (MRI) to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with clinical governance, conducting regular QA and audits, and participating in the training of rotational staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI examinations with a varied case mix, including neurological and MSK imaging, as well as more specialist scanning of breasts, multiparametric prostate, liver, small bowel enterography, gynaecological studies, and angiography using our widebore Philips Ingenia.
- Liaise effectively with the radiology team, including radiologists and the wider hospital team, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Participate in administrative duties, including using transfer and downloading of images, to ensure efficient and accurate data management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- BSc (Hons)/DCR Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of MRI Safety and IRMER.
- Fully competent to run MRI lists without direct guidance.
- HCPC Registration.
- College of Radiographers IV cannulation certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
