Prince4jobs is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team in Shrewsbury. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our finances.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and reports to the Finance Director.
- Oversee and support the monthly finance closedown process, including the posting of accruals, deferred income, prepayments, and reconciling control accounts and fixed asset registers.
- Ensure accurate posting of monthly payroll and monitor the performance of budgets, providing commentary on differences between actual and budgeted figures.
- Produce 3-year financial forecasts and lead finance meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss the latest sector updates, accounts, and forecasts.
- Regularly review sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies.
- Ensure financial procedures and processes are up-to-date and adhered to by all stakeholders.
- Support the development and integration of financial systems with other operational systems.
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation, audit, and internal audits throughout the year.
- Fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA/ ACA) with experience in a similar role.
- Full driving license and ability to travel between site locations.
- Good communication skills and experience of line management.
