Role Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Solicitor with a strong background in Clinical Negligence to become a vital member of our Healthcare Team, representing Defendants, with a primary focus on NHS Resolution. The ideal candidate will oversee a diverse range of clinical negligence cases, delivering exceptional legal counsel and representation to our clients.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee a diverse caseload of clinical negligence issues from initiation to conclusion.
  • Provide specialized legal guidance on clinical negligence claims, including the preparation, assessment, and negotiation of legal documents.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to inform case strategies and decisions.
  • Draft and evaluate legal documentation, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with clients, medical professionals, and experts to collect pertinent information and evidence.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions as necessary.
  • Maintain precise and current case files and documentation.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues across the Healthcare Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 1 year of PQE in Clinical Negligence. Candidates with experience in both Claimant and Defendant roles are encouraged to apply.
  • Profound knowledge and experience in managing clinical negligence cases.
  • Excellent skills in drafting, negotiation, and advocacy.
  • Ability to effectively manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing legal research tools and software.
  • High standards of professionalism and integrity.
