We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our Homecare Pharmacy team at Alcura. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dispensing service that exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Pharmaceutical Expertise: Provide clinical advice and support to all areas of the business, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Responsible Pharmacist: Act as a Responsible Pharmacist as and when required, adhering to prevailing regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Pharmacy Management Team to manage and organize all teams within the Pharmacy department.
- Training and Development: Assist in ensuring all team members are trained in key competencies for their role.
- Compliance and Quality: Maintain compliance with CRM and Pharmacy Manager Procedures, adhering to all SOPs and raising any non-conformances in line with company policy.
- Professional Support: Provide professional support to other functions within Alcura, including an 'on call' service for the business out of hours when required.
- Continuing Professional Development: Maintain GPHC registration at all times, undertaking regular CPD and relevant training to ensure an up-to-date knowledge of new and existing therapeutic areas.
- Process Improvement: Work closely with other members of the Pharmacy Team to review current processes within the department, ensuring it operates effectively, safely, and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Assist the Superintendent Pharmacist and Pharmacy Management Team in delivering the pharmacy customer service, safety, cost, and quality objectives.
- Incident Investigation: Assist the Pharmacy Management team in completing CAPA investigations for complaints and incidents through Q-Pulse, helping with the implementation of appropriate preventative actions where needed.
- Technical Support: Provide drug and technical information to colleagues, patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals, to help Alcura provide our customers with the best possible service where knowledge and experience permit.
- Qualifications: Qualified GPHC registered Pharmacist.
- Eligibility: Eligible to fulfill the role of 'Responsible Pharmacist'.
- Skills and Experience: Good organizational skills, preferably with experience in a variety of pharmacy environments. Good computer literacy. Excellent communication skills, able to articulate clinical conversations including with patients and clinical staff. Proven and solid work performance record (proof of accuracy level).
