About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Ongoing Preventive Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs to mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct Routine Maintenance Inspections: Identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Assist with Equipment Installation and Modification: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to install and modify building equipment and systems.
  • Assign Work Orders and Estimate Resources: Assign tasks and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Support Energy Efficiency: Ensure all building systems are operating efficiently to reduce energy consumption.
  • Inspect New Installations: Verify that new installations comply with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Apply Standard Principles and Practices: Use established procedures to solve standard problems and achieve objectives.
  • Lead by Example: Model behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values and impact the quality of your work.
  • Work within Standardized Procedures: Adhere to established procedures and practices to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
  • Communicate Effectively: Exchange information, ask questions, and check for understanding to ensure clear communication.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Physical Requirements: Meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Use existing procedures to solve standard problems and make judgments based on analysis.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills and a curious mindset.
