About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and their advisers.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new services and APIs to improving our existing software infrastructure. You will be working closely with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software solutions using C# and other relevant technologies
  • Work with our Agile team to design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our business
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of our software solutions
  • Contribute to the development of our software infrastructure, including databases and APIs
  • Work with our QA team to ensure the quality of our software solutions
Requirements
  • Strong experience in developing software solutions using C# and other relevant technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience using a git-based source control system
  • Knowledge of CI automation systems such as Jenkins
  • Some experience with React or Angular frameworks
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
