Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at WSH Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of chefs, cooks, and front-of-house staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering supplies, and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
- Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and ensuring that their expectations are consistently met.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, food safety protocols, and policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage kitchen budgets, reporting on financial performance, and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize profitability.
- Menu Development and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, incorporating new ideas and concepts into menus to maintain a competitive edge.
- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar role.
- Background in the contract catering sector.
- Excellent creative culinary skills, with a passion for menu development and innovation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on staff development and performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff.
- Proficiency in food cost management, with a focus on optimizing kitchen efficiency and profitability.
- Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
