We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner at Waterloo Lodge School. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school premises.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
- Empty and clean bins, and remove waste to designated areas.
- Separate waste for recycling and ensure that all areas are kept tidy and organized.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, including cleaning of skirting boards, walls, and internal and external glass.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve cleaning schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and management to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
