Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant Opportunity

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Bridgwater to fill a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant position on a 3-week contract, with potential for extension. If you have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed by a GPhC accredited route, we encourage you to apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient dispensary operations and minimize dispensing losses
  • Ensure accurate handling and dispensing of all medicines, including NHS and private prescriptions
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements, as well as Company SOPs
  • Assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate
  • Provide safe and accurate advice on medicines, including OTC medication as required
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a community pharmacy, ideally with experience of using Pharmacy Manager software
  • Availability to work immediately or at short notice
  • Right to work in the U.K
  • Basic DBS
