About the Role
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal (MSK) team at County Hospital, Pontypool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, providing evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to promote optimal recovery and function.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote patient-centered care and empowerment.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit and quality improvement initiatives, to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy services, including the design and delivery of education programs and training initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma/degree in physiotherapy and registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Appropriate range of postgraduate education and training in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Experience of working in a musculoskeletal physiotherapy setting, with a strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
