At Morrison Energy Services, we are seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Analyst to join our team, focusing on our Electricity Transmission Contract. This role may require occasional travel to various locations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Procurement Analyst, your duties will encompass:
- Formulating strategies for your designated category in collaboration with the Strategic Procurement Lead, aligning with the overarching supply chain strategy.
- Identifying, selecting, and managing strategic partners through category management principles.
- Actively participating in procurement team metrics, including value planning, quality assurance, health and safety, and sustainability initiatives.
- Creating a quarterly dashboard to track supply chain metrics.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration with the bids team during the bidding process.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and procurement procedures.
- Driving innovation in processes and products within the existing and potential supplier base, adopting a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) approach to uncover new opportunities and enhance profitability.
- Presenting key performance metrics to stakeholders, including performance, issues, spending data, and sustainability metrics.
- Sharing best practices related to processes and supply chain information across different business units.
- Assisting in non-conformance and lessons learned meetings, collaborating with project managers to implement findings across the organization.
- Encouraging the supply chain to actively contribute to project submissions and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Managing various categories, which may include subcontracts, materials, and plant and fleet, with a flexible approach.
- Performing additional duties as required to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a bids or category management setting.
- Strong teamwork capabilities and adaptability to change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to effectively review your own work.
- A results-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in IT, including experience with Microsoft Office, Oracle, and PowerPoint.
