Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Litigation Lawyer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of pre-action and litigated insurance claims. You will work closely with stakeholders, analyze legal issues, develop strategic solutions, and represent Travelers in court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of insurance litigation cases, from initial investigation to trial.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of insurance law and litigation procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Be fully qualified as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Barrister.
  • Have relevant Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in insurance litigation.
