Job Title: CAMO Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMO Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft across the UK.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with internal and external operators and maintenance repair organisations (MROs) to effectively plan maintenance.
  • Forecast and plan maintenance activities to ensure aircraft are airworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and update maintenance programs to ensure they are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Load and bridge aircraft onto the company's tracking system and maintenance planning software.
  • Monitor, assess, and track all relevant airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins (SBs), and modifications.
  • Proactively anticipate upcoming maintenance orders and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date aircraft records, including maintenance data and flight hour analysis.
  • Provide regular fleet flight hour analysis and monitoring of operating times of aircraft and their components.
  • Assist with airworthiness certificate (ARC) preparation and export certificates of airworthiness (C of A/Export C of A).
  • Review and write internal procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a continuing airworthiness management organisation role.
  • Recognised Part CAMO training course.
  • Experience dealing with various regulators, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Isle of Man, 2-Reg, and Cayman Islands.
  • Rotary experience and/or general familiarity (Gen Fam) courses.
  • Previous experience using Aerotrac software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organised.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • IT proficiency.
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs Grade C or above or equivalent recognised qualifications (e.g., NVQ, BTEC).
  • Degree or equivalent in an aviation-related area.
  • Human factors and safety management system (SMS) training.
