Job SummaryThe role of the Laminate Operator is to maximize the throughput of the Laminate Cell, understanding and implementing the discipline of continuous improvement within the cell and particularly operating as a daily requirement. The purpose is to develop our departmental skills, using lean manufacturing techniques. The role will be as part of a team, actively pursuing the KPI goals for the Laminate Cell.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the achievement of targets for the team
- Understand and achieve the correct quality standards within the team
- Seek urgent Team Leader support when issues outside of your control are affecting the team's targets
- Contribute to Lean Manufacturing
- Assist the Team leader as and when required
Working with all relevant departments to ensure the cell is functioning and delivering in accordance with the production plan and achieve the KPIs set out in Quality, Cost, Delivery, People & Safety.
