As a Senior Pharmacy Technician - Dispensing Services, you will be responsible for leading the Dispensary and Distribution Team, providing a high-quality, patient-focused dispensing and stock management service to the wards and clinics on the Hammersmith site.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Pharmacy Technicians in the dispensary and distribution area
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on pharmacy services and procedures
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records and reports

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
