About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Risk Transfer Consultant to join our Award-Winning Pension Risk Transfer business. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administration of pension schemes and the accurate recording of benefits secured.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Benefits Analysis and Data Management: Analyze scheme benefits and data to draft legal agreements that allow all benefits to be properly administered by the Client Services administration areas.
  2. Benefit Specification and Data Management: Ensure that all teams within PRT have the correct benefit specification and data to guarantee that the customers receive their correct benefit entitlement and schemes are funded accurately.
  3. Business Origination Support: Support the new business origination team and the Transition Managers by offering advice on administration capabilities and attending site visits to gather an understanding of the quality of the data prior to transaction.
  4. Communication and Audit Trail: Ensure communication is delivered in a timely manner and ensure there is a full audit trail of all benefit and data items throughout the lifecycle of the onboarding process.
Requirements
  1. Pension Qualification: Pension Qualification such as CII or PMI (or demonstrable equivalent experience).
  2. Pension Regulations Knowledge: Knowledge of pension's regulations for DB schemes, including a detailed understanding of the requirements for schemes in the process of de-risking.
  3. Risk Management: A strong understanding of the risks faced by their team/the business and a desire to actively take steps to reduce these risks.
  4. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with experience of project management being highly beneficial.
