Job Summary:

Academics is seeking a qualified Geography Teacher to join our team at a growing Secondary school in Colchester, Essex. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (5 is desirable but not essential) and a passion for Geography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Geography across KS3-KS5, preparing learners for both GCSEs and A-Levels.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
  • Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Attend meetings to help improve the department and learning objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Geography or related subject.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring learners.
  • Secondary school experience teaching KS3-KS5.
  • Experience as a Geography Teacher at the Secondary school level is preferred.
