Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Solicitor to join our medical negligence division based in Leeds. This is a full-time position requiring at least two days per week in the office.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of Partner Sarah Coles, specializing in medical law and managing a variety of intricate and high-value cases, including cerebral palsy, brain injuries, spinal injuries, Erb's palsy, amputations, and misdiagnosis. You will have the opportunity to oversee your own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on more complex matters. This role entails managing cases from inception to conclusion, utilizing your analytical and commercial acumen to identify critical issues and propose effective solutions for our clients. You will also aim to secure interim payments to facilitate early support for clients, including rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodations.

About You
We are looking for a Solicitor with a strong passion for medical negligence and proven experience in handling high-value cases. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A qualification as a solicitor or legal executive with 2-6 years of post-qualification experience;
- The ability to effectively communicate with clients and provide sound legal counsel;
- Demonstrable technical expertise in medical negligence;
- Experience in assisting senior colleagues with complex, high-value cases;
- The capability to manage your own caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail;
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve optimal outcomes for clients;
