Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our warehouse operations team at Gap Personnel. As a Reach Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a Reach Truck to transport goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Reach Truck Safely: Ensure safe operation of the Reach Truck, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
  • Product Integrity: Ensure the integrity of products remains intact during transportation and storage.
  • Fault Identification and Rectification: Identify and rectify any faults or issues with the Reach Truck or products.
  • Safe Driving Standards: Maintain safe driving standards at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Zero MHE Damage: Ensure zero damage to materials handling equipment (MHE).
  • Minimise Damage: Minimise damage to products and ensure damaged products are not sent to customers.
  • Reporting: Report any damages or issues to your team leader.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain high housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
  • H&S and Environmental Standards: Maintain high standards of health and safety and environmental awareness.
  • Personal Hygiene: Maintain personal hygiene and hygiene quality standards.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Reporting Breaches: Report any potential breaches of hygiene standards, including damage, contamination, sabotage, and pest issues.
  • Reverse Logistics: Ensure accurate and timely completion of reverse logistics tasks.

Requirements:

  • RTITB or ITSSAR Accredited FLT Reach Licence: Must have an in-date RTITB or ITSSAR Accredited FLT Reach licence and pass a drug and alcohol assessment.
  • Numeracy and Literacy: Must be numerate and literate.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent levels of communication, both written and verbal.
  • Initiative and Teamwork: Ability to work on own initiative, while working under pressure in a continually changing and demanding environment, and build effective team relationships.
  • Safety and Quality: Work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy, and quality.
