Key Responsibilities

  1. Global Transfer Pricing Policy Management
  • Develop and maintain a robust transfer pricing model that aligns with our evolving business needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of transfer pricing policies and procedures.
Proactive Tax Advice
  • Provide expert tax guidance to commercial and legal teams on business operations, cross-border transactions, market expansions, and new product launches.
  • Ensure the tax position is optimized to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
Direct Tax Compliance
  • Oversee non-UK/US direct tax compliance obligations, with a focus on Asia and collaboration with local finance teams and external advisors.
Global Operational Transfer Pricing
  • Partner with the Direct Tax Team and local finance teams to manage global operational transfer pricing matters, tax risks, and optimize tax/finance processes.
Tax Risk Management
  • Assist in managing non-UK/US tax risks and tax controversies.
  • Contribute to year-end tax reporting and provision position.
Relationship Management
  • Support in managing relationships with external advisors, compliance providers, and tax authorities.
Process Improvement
  • Identify and implement improvements to direct tax processes through automation and other efficiency projects.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications
  • ACA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ATT, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
  • Strong understanding of international tax matters, including transfer pricing and international tax compliance.
  • Natural curiosity and desire to stay up-to-date with changing regulations and developments in taxation.
  • Experience in leading process improvement and automation projects.
