Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of commissioning strategies and high-level control documents.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare critical project documentation, including Control Plans, Setting to Work documents, Site Acceptance documents, Inactive commissioning documents, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and LTQR documentation.
  • Collaboration and Supplier Management: Collaborate with sub-contractors and suppliers to develop and review Control Plans, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) documents, Setting to Work documents, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) documents, Inactive commissioning documents, and LTQR documentation.
  • Project Management: Manage project engineers and technicians during Setting to Work, SAT, and inactive commissioning phases.
  • Technical Expertise: Understand the technical requirements of a project and collaborate with in-house specialists or supply chain support to develop design and engineering solutions.

Requirements:

  • EC&I Biased: Essential
  • Commissioning Experience: Essential (on a nuclear licensed site)
  • Supplier Witness Testing: Essential
  • Test Documentation Development: Essential
  • Engineering Qualifications: Desirable (Engineering Degree or Higher National Certificate in Engineering)
  • Professional Membership: Desirable (membership of a relevant technical/professional body)
