About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our education team as an Information Advice & Guidance worker for Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP & YOI Parc.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide relevant and easily understood information regarding resettlement provision in custody and continuing support on release on licence and on Post Sentence Supervision.
  • To enable clients to produce an informed resettlement action plan, maximising the impact of custodial services upon the client whilst in custody.
  • To contribute to a multi-disciplinary approach that facilitates a smooth transition to the resettlement of the client into the community.
Requirements
  • To hold or be willing to work towards a level 3 information, advice and guidance qualification within an agreed time scale.
  • To hold or be willing to work towards level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy within an agreed timescale.
