We are seeking a skilled Plater Fabricator to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Plater Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of naval vessels, including the QEC and Type 45 Destroyers.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out fabrication tasks, including new component creation and structural repairs, to ensure the integrity and safety of naval vessels.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces, utilizing a wide range of hand tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with the Constructive Trade team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new fabrication techniques and processes.
- Hold an appropriate trade apprenticeship, naval equivalent qualifications, or qualifications (NVQ in Trade).
- Have experience in fabrication, preferably in the marine, oil and gas, heavy construction, or rolling stock industries.
- Be competent in using a wide range of hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
