**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our leisure centre in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the centre, ensuring exceptional customer service and delivering outstanding results.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Lead a team of around 50 staff, providing coaching and support to ensure excellent customer service and operational excellence
- Manage budgets and financial targets, including membership sales, learn to swim programs, and pitch bookings
- Build and maintain partnerships with local schools and community groups
- Analyse business performance data and trends, making informed decisions to drive business success
**What We Offer:**
- A competitive basic salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience
- Enrolment onto the local government pension scheme
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
**Requirements:**
- Proven track record as a General Manager in a similar large local authority leisure centre, family-focused private health club, or significant family entertainment business centre
- Strong leadership, commercial, and operational skills
- Ability to coach and support a team to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence
