We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Leading Lives, a not-for-profit social enterprise providing social care support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs in Suffolk and surrounding areas.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young gentleman in their transition from living with their family to independent living. You will work closely with our team to provide personalized support, enabling our customer to live independently and participate in community activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management
- Assisting with community integration, including accessing local amenities and services
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, families, and carers
- Administering medication in line with company policy
We offer a comprehensive training program, including online and in-person training, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to excel in this role. Our induction process includes a three-week program, with shadowing hours allocated to support your transition.
