Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operational processes related to exchange/OTC and FTR trading activities.
Essential Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of the commodities trading lifecycle.
- Experience with OTC and exchange-cleared commodities, including power, gas, emissions, oil, and coal.
- Familiarity with T0/T1 trade reconciliation and settlement procedures.
- Expertise in commodities ETRM management.
- Experience interacting with exchanges such as CME, Nodal, Nymex, ICE, EEX, and Nasdaq.
- Knowledge of FCM and DMA setups.
- Experience with broker agreements and fee reconciliations.
- Understanding of compliance and control frameworks, with the ability to contribute to policy and procedure development.
- Management of the FTR lifecycle, including ISO relationships, collateral posting, auction results, PnL and position validation, settlement, and collateral release.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Degree-level education is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in handling large datasets.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong technical skills, particularly in Excel.
