Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Civil Engineer / Port Planner to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the delivery of complex maritime planning projects, developing innovative port planning tools using the latest modelling and simulation software, and delivering outstanding client value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop port and terminal master planning projects in various sectors, including Container Terminals, Passenger / Vehicle Terminals, Dry and Liquid Bulk, on a national and international level.
  • Approach port planning from a civil engineering and port operations perspective, working closely with other parts of the business that focus on environmental, commercial, and other aspects of port planning.
  • Manage and lead multi-disciplinary design and planning projects, engaging in the global port planning team, including our Smart Ports team, Green Ports team, and Port Automation team.
  • Develop proposals and commercial offers, and provide expert commercial, technical, and operational advice.
  • Contribute to the digitalisation and innovation of port and terminal master planning.
Requirements
  • Professional experience in the design of ports / heavy civils projects.
  • A degree in Civil and/or Maritime Engineering or related subject (Masters level is advantageous).
  • Based in London and willing to travel occasionally throughout the UK and overseas.
