Role Overview:
The Deputy Nursery Room Leader will support the Nursery Manager and collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding care and education for children aged 0 to 5 years, adhering to the nursery's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and education tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the lead educator and actively contribute to the team.
  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
  • Encourage each child's development and monitor ratios effectively.
  • Document observations and maintain key child profiles.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Attend to personal hygiene needs of children.
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings.

Requirements:
  • Montessori experience is highly desirable but not essential.
  • A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Early Years Childcare is required.
