Our relief workforce is expanding, creating openings for relief positions in various locations. The beauty of our relief contracts lies in their flexibility; you dictate your availability, and we strive to align shifts accordingly.
Position Overview
As a relief team member, you will be integral to our operations, ensuring that we maintain high standards of care and support during periods of staff training, vacations, and absences.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all facets of their daily lives, including shopping, managing finances, cooking, household chores, and personal care. The individuals we support have diverse interests, so you may also engage in activities such as arts and crafts, gardening, cinema outings, dining experiences, swimming, dancing, and nature walks.
Essential Qualities:
A nurturing and empathetic demeanor Strong listening abilities Excellent communication skills A proactive attitude towards learning Proficiency in computer usageNo prior experience in care is necessary to join our team, as we prioritize values and transferable skills. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the practical skills required for this role. We will compensate you for your training and support your pursuit of an SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification.
Work Schedule
We offer dedicated support around the clock, 24/7, which means our shift patterns may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and/or waking nights.
