Manager - Power & Utilities Transactions, Infrastructure Advisory Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our Power & Utilities Transactions team within the Infrastructure Advisory Group at KPMG-UnitedKingdom. As a Manager, you will play a key role in providing advice on large and complex transactions, leveraging the specialist skills across the P&U team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial advice on transactions and contribute to originating transaction-related advisory mandates in the P&U sector.
- Work closely with colleagues in other parts of KPMG Deal Advisory to develop and maintain business relationships with investors, primarily infrastructure funds, pension funds, etc.
- Build a strong external and internal network to promote our services and the value provided.
- Contribute to ensuring that KPMG's quality and risk management procedures are completed to the appropriate standard.
- Coach and mentor junior members of the team.
- Experience of working on transactions in utilities and infrastructure, either with an M&A or a Consulting background.
- Detailed understanding of transaction process and execution.
- Good knowledge of utilities and energy sectors in the UK (key market segments) and ability to identify and analyse key value drivers on a particular transaction in the Power & Utilities market.
- Ability to carry out financial analysis on transactions including different valuation methods.
- Ability to work at pace and during intense periods of live transactions.
- Excellent presentation and communications skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
