Job Title: Day & Night Shift Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Engineering Team Leader.
  • Collaborate with the production team to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Modern Apprenticeship trained or equivalent.
  • Electrically/Mechanical qualified with a degree, HND/HNC, OND/ONC, or BTEC 4 OR 3 NVQ level 3 or above.
  • 18th edition wiring regulation, City & Guilds 236/2360 parts 1, 2 and C (electrical installation or similar).
  • Completed authorised or competent persons training.
  • Technically competent to safely operate, make safe and test systems or installations.
  • Experienced shift engineer with a proven track record.
  • Flexible to work days and nights.
  • Multi Skilled (or electrical 18th edition).
  • Workshop machines and power tools experience.
  • Experience of working in confined spaces & working at height.
  • CI trained in manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of BRC and HACCP food standards.
