Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our Mechanical and Electrical Team, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial resources of assigned projects to maximize planned gross margin.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with the procurement strategy set out from the beginning of the project.
- Valuation and measuring of change.
- Advising on legal and contractual matters on orders and change.
- Valuation of project and subcontract progress.
- Undertaking procurement activities including subcontract enquires, tender reviews and order production.
Requirements
- Qualified, at degree level or HND/HNC (or similar) in Quantity Surveying or suitable experience.
- Hold SMSTS / CSCS card and maintain renewals.
- Experienced surveyor in delivering multiple small schemes or medium Schemes.
- Clear understanding of all main forms of contract JCT, NEC etc.
