Role Overview

As a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of our diverse fleet of vehicles and waste management equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations as well as DVSA standards.

Your responsibilities will include conducting scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections to fulfill our operational commitments. Our fleet encompasses a range of vehicles from light commercial vans to 44-ton articulated trucks, providing ample opportunities for skill enhancement and professional growth.

Ideal Candidate

We seek individuals with experience in roles such as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, or HGV Mechanic. Whether you are a fully qualified technician or possess semi-skilled experience, we encourage you to reach out as we offer training and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a full level 3 HGV / PSV apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (City and Guilds/NVQ).
  • Technician level expertise.
  • A valid car/van driving license is essential.
  • HGV license is preferred.
  • IRTEC qualification is advantageous.
