Position Overview: We are pleased to present a rewarding opportunity for a Lead HR Consultant, responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across multiple locations, catering to a workforce of approximately 250 employees. This role involves close collaboration with the People and Culture Manager, as well as engagement with the senior leadership team and departmental managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that managerial decisions are equitable, justifiable, and consistent, adhering to internal guidelines.
- Establish and oversee HR systems, ensuring their effective utilization.
- Maintain the accuracy and compliance of employee data within HR systems.
- Review, revise, and disseminate people policies and procedures, ensuring they are accessible and upheld.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to HR inquiries, while supervising the HR Administrator in managing the HR Hub.
- Oversee the management of employee absence reporting by the HR Administrator, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Support and guide the HR Administrator in their duties.
- Supervise the preparation of employment contracts and payroll information by the HR Administrator, ensuring accuracy before distribution to relevant parties.
- Quality assure the HR Administrator's work and perform essential HR administrative tasks in their absence.
- Assist managers in the recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees, whether permanent, agency, or temporary.
- Proactively support managers with employees on probation, ensuring regular performance evaluations and completion of probation documentation.
- Facilitate the organization and delivery of in-house continuous professional development (CPD), leadership training, and learning and development initiatives.
- Conduct in-house training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess prior experience in an HR Advisor capacity or a similar role, or demonstrate readiness to advance into such a position. A solid foundation in generalist HR practices is essential.
