Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to become a vital part of our client's operations. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to develop their skills and advance within a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, assess, and unload glass merchandise from vendors, ensuring precision and quality assurance.
  • Systematically arrange and store glass items in the storage facility, adhering to proper labeling and safety protocols.
  • Prepare shipments, which includes selecting, packaging, and palletizing glass products.
  • Conduct regular stock assessments to ensure accurate inventory levels and address any inconsistencies.
  • Operate safely around forklifts, pump trucks, and other warehouse machinery to transport glass items.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote efficient operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Follow health and safety standards to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your teammates.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, complying with established cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of glass products and handling methods is beneficial, though not mandatory.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for prolonged periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations and fostering a safe workplace.
