Job Summary:

GM Legal Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal to join their team in West Sussex. As a key member of the conveyancing team, you will be responsible for providing full support to the team, handling a wide range of transactions related to the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team, including preparing and reviewing documents, conducting research, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of property transactions, including drafting and reviewing contracts, deeds, and other documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the conveyancing team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant or Paralegal in a conveyancing role.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
