Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst

At TJX Europe, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our Treasury team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the treasury team with medium and long-term Cash Flow management for TJX Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consolidate, execute, analyze, and present the long-term cash flow Forecast and Budget, by country for the European region.
  • Liaise with peers in the Treasury team to ensure all different Cash Flows are aligned: short-term, 10 days, and 6 weeks, as well as with BP&A for the long-term Cash flow Forecast.
  • Liaise with the wider Finance team to understand business trends and ensure this is reflected in the Cash Flows projections with a strategic mindset.
  • Responsible for variance analysis: Actuals, Forecast, and Budget, and Risks & Opportunities.
  • Monthly presentations to the senior TJX Treasury team: Rolling Plan and Budget (second half of the fiscal year) and quarterly presentations with Tax & Treasury.
  • Responsible for month-end reports.
  • High frequency of Ad Hoc analysis and reports.
  • Manage and maintain the Cash Flow models, drive efficiency, simplification, and standardization with financial modeling across the Treasury team.
  • Challenge the status quo and constantly work to improve/streamline existing processes, also when this requires a cross-functional process review (big picture process).
  • Maintain a keen interest in the Treasury environment, proactively assist the Manager of European Treasury to drive efficiency and keep abreast of best practices.
  • Participate in ad hoc Treasury cross-functional projects.
  • Backup the other Senior Treasury Operations Analyst and support the Treasury Manager in the team with the short-term Cash Flow Forecasting and other reports.
Requirements:
  • Experience in analytical roles in Treasury or FP&A / BP&A with Cash Flow Forecasting.
  • Experience working with consolidation systems such as Hyperion, TM1, working in multi-legal entities and multi-currency environments.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable working in ambiguity, with high-level initiative and drive, detail-oriented, and strong critical thinking.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to flex and operate in a dynamic environment while embracing TJX Competency leadership and Cultural Factors in the ways of working.
  • Ability to gain a quick understanding of how the business works and the off-price model.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills - ability to communicate across functions and senior levels coupled with the ability to develop mutually beneficial working relationships.
  • Active interest in financial markets and the macroeconomic environment.
