Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced gas engineer to join our team on a mobile basis, covering the Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness & Perth region. This role involves carrying out maintenance and repair tasks, including fabric & basic electrical tasks, under contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the necessary paperwork and reports.
  2. Perform reactive and planned commercial maintenance tasks.
  3. Ensure all statutory and mandatory tasks are completed within the required timescales.
  4. Monitor visiting sub-contractors and issue appropriate Permits, controlling small works and escort duties as required.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines.
  2. Commercial Gas Safe qualifications, COCN1/CODNCO1 minimum.
  3. Good commercial gas maintenance knowledge and extensive experience working within commercial environments.
  4. Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment, including boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, Batteries, small power and lighting.
  5. Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
