Job Title: Mandarin Speaking Settlement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin speaking Settlement Officer to join our team in London. As a key member of our Treasury department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our settlement and clearing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collate and process Treasury payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify and send payment instructions to banks via fax or electronic means.
  • Reconcile loans and loan positions with house banks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle ad hoc queries, including SWIFT requests, bank audit letters, and returned payments.
  • Provide regular updates to the Treasury Manager on any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Fluent Mandarin and English language skills.
  • Experience working in a settlement or treasury department, preferably in a major bank or commodity house.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Awareness of international sanctions and remittance regulations.
